Learning to Fly

Whether wanting to take a short flight to another airport to grab a bite to eat (the $100 hamburger), or to continue on to a major airline or private charter company, learning to fly can be a rewarding adventure.  No one is ever too young or old to start and many students have begun lessons in high school or younger, while others have decided achieving a license would be a great hobby after retirement.

Interested in learning more.  The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) has set aside a section of their website dedicated to answering common questions for those interested in beginning lessons, as well as providing valuable resources into the future.  The site can be accessed by clicking below.

The instructors at Armstrong Aviation Services are always happy to answer any questions you may have by email or phone or by visiting the airport.  Visitors are always welcome!
